As part of our media AS coursework, in groups, we have to create an opening for a new film in the genre of our choice that lasts 2 minutes.
We have to include the codes and conventions of our chosen genre. For example: stock chracters, settings, narrative.
As a group, we have decided to create an opening based on the genre Thriller, therefore, I have researched 5 openings of thrillers and 3 whole films that are also thrillers. There are many different sub-genres of thrillers therefore, so I tried to watch films from different examples of sub-genre.
